Cake decorator (15-35 hours):

Position: Cake Decorator

Hours: Full time desired - part time is an option
Hours: Daytime hours only (between 8am and 6pm only) - Saturday availability is desired. Please note that weekends and holidays are our busiest times.

We are a small, family-owned bakery dedicated to creating delicious and beautifully decorated cakes. Our team is passionate about baking and delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for a talented cake decorator to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes, cookies and cupcakes from start to finish, including design, and final touches.

• Follow instructions accurately and consistently to meet our bakery’s standards.

• Collaborate effectively with the team while also being able to work independently when required.

• Adapt to our bakery’s style and maintain consistency in design and presentation.

• Write well with buttercream to create messages and decorative elements.

• Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders via phone and email.

• Track orders and maintain an organized schedule to ensure timely delivery.

• Exhibit strong time management and attention to detail to meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cake decorating, with a portfolio showcasing your work.

• Strong foundation in cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and other decorating skills.

• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and precision.

• Good written communication skills for taking orders and writing messages on cakes.

• Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service.

• Basic computer skills for tracking orders and communication.

Sales associate / kitchen assistant (part time):

Employees will be trained to wait on customers & help behind the scenes in the kitchen. Includes but not limited too: checking customers out, sending out orders, answering the phone, refilling the cases, dishes, cleaning, filling supplies, prepping frostings, etc.. Must have flexible hours and Saturday availability are a must.
